This dashboard is published with a vision of Leon County, Florida as a community with equitable access to education and, as a result, workforce opportunities. The data shown here offers opportunities for action that can transform Leon County into this vision: improving the educational outcomes throughout the Greater Tallahassee area though a strategic, evidence-based approach.

ASPIRE'S NEWEST INITIATIVE

ASPIRE is working to educate our community about the state of education in Leon County. The Education Data Dasboard is designed to create a data-driven community dialogue about successes, challenges, and opportunities in local education.

This dashboard centralizes information about various publicly available education statistics. It provides fast facts about demographics and key education milestones using recent data. It visualizes key trends to make the data accessible and understandable.

Our team leveraged the evidence-based Essential Questions Framework, backed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to drive out dashboard. We selected five essential questions from this framework to focus on the experiences of students in grades 9-12, aiming to understand how students progress on their journeys from high school to career.
